SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2 - LONG HIKE (10 MILES): We will hike the Prettyboy Trail along the shores of Prettyboy Reservoir in Baltimore County. This will be a shuttle hike and will start at the top of the Prettyboy Dam. Before starting the trail, we’ll have the opportunity to walk down a long flight of stairs to the bottom of the dam and back again. Hopefully it will really be winter, with ice and snow. When the lake is frozen you can sometimes hear the ice groan and bubble. There may be some sections that have a pretty narrow path, but others will be wider and there will be some good views of the lake. Bring good boots/hiking shoes, snack, lunch, and water. If it has been icy, foot traction will also be helpful.

Meeting Location: York County High School of Technology (Vo-Tec) Departure Time: 8:00 AM
Alternate Meeting Location: Contact hike leader directly
Hike Leader: David Lukes, 717-818-4751 or Carpool Fee: $5.00

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9 - CHILI HIKE: TWO HIKE OPTIONS: At 10:00 AM Tim Schmidt will lead a 6 mile moderately paced hike. At 11:00 AM Bob Falsetti will lead a 3 mile hike. Both hikes will depart from JPJ, returning in time for a chili dinner at 1:30 PM. Call Julie Falsetti at (717) 854-3437, or email juliafalsetti@Comcast.net by 9:00 PM Thursday, February 6 to make meal reservations, which once made must be paid. Meal cost is $4 plus $1 cabin use fee for members and $2.00 for non-members.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15 - MEDIUM HIKE (9 MILES): This is the third part of The Northwest Lancaster County River Trail trilogy hike. This time we start at Koser Park in Bainbridge and hike to the Riverfront Park. Again there is a lot to see including the White Cliffs of Conoy and the Shocks Mill Bridge. The Susquehanna River Lands will surround us during the hike. The path is paved without inclines. Please dress warm! Sneakers are fine and no hiking poles required. Don’t forget water and snacks.
